Apple Day at The Museum of East Anglian Life

The Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket have sent the following message. Glenda
———————————————————————————–Hi Glenda,
It was nice to talk to you just now. Just to recap what I said:

I wondered whether the club might be interested in getting involved in the museum’s new apple day – ‘Cider and Song’ – which is taking place on Saturday 20 October? We’ve got all kinds of activities planned including a food historian and apple tastings. We’re going to be planting an orchard at the museum this winter and will be cutting a ribbon on the first tree at the event. Some of your members got involved in our 50th anniversary fete last year and I seem to remember them saying that if we got in touch sooner, the club might be interested in having a showcase of some kind. I wondered if orchards might be an interesting theme.

We are also looking for people to bake cakes to sell as part of our fundraising for the new orchard.

Let me know if you are interested and if so, how you think it would be best for you to be involved.

Thanks,

Jenny
